Spring 2016 – Tour de Mason
Don’t miss your chance to become part of the Iron Mason Elite. Iron Mason Spring 2016 begins Monday, February 1st, 2016, and we want you to take part! Come swim (or row), bike and run (or walk) your way to gain entry into the Iron Mason elite.
Tour de Mason
This years theme is a spin on the Tour de France. The Tour de France is composed of 2,186 miles of bike riding across France. We took those numbers and built them into the distances of the Iron Mason. to challenge you to be the best you that you can be! 2 miles of swimming, 186 miles of biking, and 86 miles of running/walking. You put those together and you get 2,186.
What is Iron Mason?
Iron Mason is a Mason Recreation incentive program that encourages members to step up their physical activity during the semester. It is not a race against other participants. As long as you complete your challenge between Monday, February 1st, 2016 through Monday, April 25th, 2016, you have met the goal!
How does it work?
Participants must complete the challenge, by running (or walking), swimming (or rowing) and biking their way to the finish.
