Outdoor Adventures Short Film Festival
Unfortunately we have canceled the October 13th film festival screening. Check back on our website for the films in the coming days.
Join us on October 13th a Mason Pond on the Fairfax campus at 8 PM as we eat s’mores and watch all of the submissions to the Outdoor Adventure Short Film Festival! The theme is outdoor culture, so whatever that means to you we want to see it!
Prizes include a North Face backpack, Crazy Creek chair, REI dufflebag, Nalgene water bottle, Five Ten hats, Outdoor Adventure Find Your Path t-shirts, and gift cards from adidas Terrex.
Submissions are limited to current students, faculty, and staff of George Mason University as well as Mason alumni.
Choose from two categories to enter short films up to 5 minutes in length. The festival theme is outdoor culture. Shorts can be on any topic relating to the outdoors. Animation, documentary, action, fiction; all genres related to the theme are welcome.
The General category is for any short film related to outdoor culture regardless of production dates. This allows people who only film in the winter or went on an amazing trip a few years ago to show us what outdoor culture means to them.
The Three Week Competition category is for shorts that are entirely shot, edited, and submitted to us during the three weeks of the Outdoor Adventures Short Film Competition.
