The purpose of the Mason Recreation Hall of Fame is to honor the outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to Mason Recreation, setting a lasting example of leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication. Their achievements have inspired a legacy that continues to shape our vibrant recreational programs today.

2025 Hall of Fame Nominations

Submit your nomination for the Mason Recreation Hall of Fame today! The nomination form will be open until October 31, 2024.

Voting Time period

  • Voting for the Mason Recreation Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will be open from November 14th - 26th, 2024.
  • 2025 Hall of Fame inductees will be notified in late November 2024 following the voting period.

Voting Criteria

We accept nominations for both individuals and groups/teams to be inducted into the Mason Recreation Hall of Fame. Please read more about the criteria below:

  • Candidate(s) must have been affiliated with Mason Recreation for minimum 1 year.
  • Candidate(s) must have made significant contributions to Mason Recreation.
  • Candidate(s) are not eligible to be nominated until at least 2 years after their separate from Mason Recreation.
  • Candidate(s) can be past student and wage employees, professional staff members, and club/IM sport participants or teams.
  • Candidate(s) can be nominated posthumously.
