Upcoming Hours for Aquatics
For a nice alternative to working out in the fitness gallery, patrons are encouraged to explore our aquatics facilities that include the recreation pool, whirlpool, cedar sauna, and Olympic-size competition pool. Enjoy open lap swimming or get involved with the facility’s group activities, such as aqua aerobics or one of the many club teams.
Aquatic Employment Opportunities
We are hiring for our various Aquatic positions! If you want to learn more, follow this link!
Please keep in mind our hours of operation are subject to change. Please check back for any altered pool hours.
Like to lap swim but don’t know what to do? Check out our new Workout of the Week station on our Pool Information bulletin board across from the Lifeguard Office. Each week we will put out new workouts for beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers. The workouts are laminated for your convenience to take them to the side of the pool, also look on the back for helpful tips. Try one or try them all. Once you’ve finished your workout, just drop it back off at the station so all of our patrons can enjoy a good workout.
Curious as to which lanes are open when in the competition pool?
To view our recreation pool charts: August 21st-December 1st;
Yellow indicates open rec swim space. We encourage sharing lanes here at George Mason University, don’t wait for your own lane as you may not get to keep it.
Our swim lesson registration link is currently closed. Please refer to our swim lesson page for more information.
