Swim Lessons – Group & Private
Group Swim Lessons
Our aquatics program offers group swim lessons for children ages 3 – 9. These lessons are designed for non-swimmers learning basic skills and water safety, and beginning swimmers transitioning to using defined strokes.
Group Swim Lessons – Preschool Level | Minnows (Age 3-5)
Our Preschool Swim Lessons are designed for children from ages 3-5 years old. Your child will focus on water adjustment and beginning skills with water safety topics. Familiarize children to the aquatic environment and help them acquire rudimentary basic aquatic skills. Help participants begin to develop positive attitudes and safe practices in and around water. Swimming skills will always be introduced with the guidance and support from an instructor, and will gradually progress to individual swimming as your child advances.

Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are offered to those individuals (ages 3 – adult) who desire the benefits of one-on-one aquatic instruction. Private lessons are tailored to the individual, whether to improve specific techniques, gain overall confidence, or focus on more advanced skills. Lessons are offered in 30-minute or 45-minute sessions, with various packages available. Semi-private lessons are also provided for groups of two to three swimmers.
Private Swim Lessons are in high demand, and we have limited instructors available.
Below is the link to our interest form. After filling out the form, an instructor will contact you to arrange class days/times when they have an opening. We will do our best to find an instructor within 90 days, but it is not guaranteed.

Policies and Procedures
FIRST DAY:
Please arrange a time to come to the front desk to process payment; if coming before your lesson, please give yourself at least 10-15 minutes to process paperwork and get your swipe access cards.
When you arrive each day, please hand the Customer Service Attendant your card and say, “I am here for Private Swim Lessons.” They will swipe your card. You may now enter the facility and participate in your swim lesson. It is imperative that you have your card swiped each day you enter the facility, including the first day.
POLICIES & RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you cancel a scheduled lesson without 24 hours notice or do not show up for your lesson, you do not get a make-up for that lesson. The instructor will notify the Aquatic Coordinator, and a lesson will be taken off. If the instructor needs to cancel the lesson, it should be done at least 24 hours in advance.
- If you arrive late for your lesson you will still need to conclude your lesson at the regularly scheduled time. If the instructor is late, the lesson will continue for the full 30 or 45 minute time.
- Instructors will only wait 15 minutes for late arrivals. After 15 minutes, the lesson will be determined a “no show” and will be counted as a used lesson.
- To get best results, lessons should be conducted once every week. As several of our instructors are students, they may go home during University scheduled breaks such as the following: Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer. Fall and Spring are only a week long, not causing an impact on lessons. Winter and Summer are over a month which may impact lessons from occurring regularly. When scheduling your lessons, please plan accordingly around breaks so that all lessons can be completed before breaks occur.
- Lessons will expire after 6 months from the date of purchase. No refunds are accepted after the expiration date.
- Goggles are HIGHLY recommended. If you forget goggles, we sell goggles at our front desk.
- There is no swimming before or after class unless you are a member. Please communicate with your instructor if you are a member (the instructor will verify after the lesson). Please keep other children out of the pool.
- Parents and/or guardians must remain on the deck during the lesson.
