Do you want to get out and explore on your own, but don’t have the gear? We can help! Outdoor Adventures offers a full line of rental equipment; so whether you need snowshoes for a winter hike, backpacking equipment for a weekend at Shenandoah National Park, or just a tent for the backyard, we’ve got you covered.
We are currently only issuing rental equipment to Mason students, faculty, or staff
Reservations and appointments can be fulfilled as staffing availability allows and can be made by emailing us at: outdoor@gmu.edu.
- Reservation requests must be submitted at least 3 days in advance of the pickup date. Any requests made after that time cannot be guaranteed to be fulfilled
- Pickups and drop-offs can occur from Monday – Friday between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm. Rentals outside of these days and times cannot be fulfilled
- Any late returns will incur a late fee equal to the daily rental price for each day that the rental is late.
