August 18 – 24 Altered Facility Hours

From Monday, August 18 – Sunday, August 24, the Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC) and Recreation Athletic Complex (RAC) will have the following altered hours due to Fall Staff Training:
Monday, August 18
AFC: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
RAC: 3 – 8 p.m.
Tuesday, August 19
AFC: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
RAC: 3 – 8 p.m.
Wednesday, August 20
AFC: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
RAC: 3 – 8 p.m.
Thursday, August 21
AFC: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
RAC: 3 – 8 p.m.
Friday, August 22
AFC: 6 a.m. – 12 p.m.
RAC: Closed
Saturday, August 23
AFC: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
RAC: 1 – 5 p.m.
Sunday, August 24
AFC: 2 – 8 p.m.
RAC: 2 – 11 p.m.

All facilities will return to normal hours on Monday, August 25, including the reopening of Skyline Fitness Center.

AFC Down Week – Hours Change Notice

Attention members & guests,
Our annual maintenance period at the Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC) will be from Friday, August 1 through Thursday, August 14. The AFC will be closed during this time. 
The Recreation & Athletic Complex (RAC) will have extended hours during this time:
  • Monday – Thursday: 6a-8p
  • Friday: 6a-6p
  • Saturday – Sunday: 8a-5p
Additionally, our members are welcome to use the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center at GMU’s Manassas campus during this period. Information about the Freedom Center’s offerings, as well as hours and address, can be found on their website here.

July 4 Mason Recreation Facilities CLOSED

ALL Mason Recreation facilities and outdoor venues will be closed for Independence Day on Friday, July 4. Spaces will return to normal facility hours on Saturday, July 5.

RAC Gym Opening June 16

The RAC Gym floor project is complete and the space will be reopening earlier than anticipated.
The gym will reopen with the RAC facility on Monday, June 16th. Please view our schedule for any further updates.

AFC Rec Pool Closure Update

Attention Members and Guests,
We will not be able to open the Recreation Pool on Thursday, May 22 as originally planned.
The closure was due to a filter malfunction that required assistance from an external company. While we’ve been actively working to resolve the issue, there are delays due to outdoor pool season being a priority for pool companies in the area.We are in contact with a company to diagnose the issue, complete any necessary repairs, and thoroughly clean and prep the pool area for safe use.
We are now targeting Wednesday, May 28 for reopening and will extend the competition pool open swim hours.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these unexpected repairs, and we’ll continue to keep you updated as things progress.

Memorial Day Mason Recreation Facilities CLOSED
