EDGE Open Climb

August 30th | 10am – 2:30 pm | EDGE Alpine Tower (SciTech Campus)

Are you a thrill seeker, looking to test your climbing skills, or just want to try something new? Come try your hand at Climbing our Alpine Tower! Bring friends, or just bring your enthusiasm and meet fellow adventurers while you climb! We supply the harnesses, helmets, and belaying expertise–just come dressed for the outdoors and wear closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes work fine on the tower), and we’ll help you with the rest!

Most people have to book a program to climb this 50′ ft tower, but our Open Climb events are some of the only opportunities you will have to climb this tower for FREE and not as part of a Team.

Location & Parking: The EDGE is located at the Science and Technology Campus in Manassas. Climbers should meet at the large green and white tent in the middle of that campus, near the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center. Since you are participating in an activity at The EDGE, you may park in the Freedom Center parking lot. There is also a shuttle that runs regularly from Fairfax to Scitech.

Visit our Alpine Tower page online for more!
