Get ready to supercharge your fitness journey with our monthly fitness challenge series in 2023. Each month, we aim to bring you new and exciting fitness challenges designed to push your limits, boost your motivation and transform your health and wellness.

Complete the challenge in our Facilities with the assistance of our Fitness Attendants and check out this webpage at the end of the month to see where you finished! At the end of the month, the winner gets a prize!

Empower yourself with Boxing & Self Defense!

Are you ready to build your strength, boost your confidence, and learn essential self-defense skills? Look no further! We are excited to announce the launch of our boxing and self-defence classes. Join us at the RAC Martial Arts room on Monday and Wednesday for boxing and on Tuesday and Thursday for Self-Defence classes from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The classes are for everyone whether you are a pro-boxer or a beginner. In classes, you will learn boxing schools such as punching, footwork, and conditioning through shadow-boxing and working with mits.

Splash Night | Fall 2023

Join us for a thrilling evening of aquatic fun as we kick off the Fall Semester! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 12 from 8 PM – 10:30 PM and make your way to the AFC. We will have water-based activities such as Key Log Rolling, Paddle Boarding, Water Polo, Aqua Golf and much more to enjoy.  The Top 3 participants of the Splash Contest will receive a prize.

Come, check out what Mason Recreation and our Club Sports do in the pool! Underwater Hockey, Club Swim, a Flow Motion FITT group fitness class, and more will have drop-in sessions to try out and see if they are for you.

Mason Nation 5K | October 14, 2023

The Mason Nation Thriving Together 5K Walk/Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is focusing more on coming together as a community and less on the speed. You are welcome whether you are an avid runner or a walk around the park walker! The awards will be given to the top overall male and females in each age group.

  • Comp Pool: CLOSED for maintenance

Personal Training Prep Course: Register Now – May 25

Join us for our first VIRTUAL Personal Training Prep Course!

This American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer Preparation Course prepares individuals to complete the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam. On completion of the course, you will feel better equipped to motivate, empower, challenge, and retain clients for the long term. Exam fees and study materials are reduced for those who participate in the preparation course.

This course will be taught by Assistant Director of Fitness Becky Demus (Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor) and Coordinator of Fitness, Emmanuel Agyemang (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.)

This course does not include the exam for certification. Participation in the course allows for a discounted rate of $249 for the ACE Exam registration fee. Registration for the exam is completed through ACE.
