Mason Recreation is currently working on some projects to enhance our facilities! Listed below are our current projects. Check back often for updates!

What has been completed:

AFC

Knee walls around our guard office and cycling room on the Recreation Pool Deck
Knee walls on our Competition Pool Deck
Varsity Locker Rooms have new shower fixtures and new tiles in their showers
Women’s Locker Room has new shower fixtures and new tiles in shower area
new classroom furniture

RAC

What’s Next!:

At the AFC: Domestic Hot Water, Enhanced pool storefronts and new doors; April 21st-August 17th:

June 26th-July 15th: Men will use the Gender Inclusive Locker Room during this time
- General Men’s Locker Room
  - locker room will be closed during this time
  - removal of old diverters and installing of new diverters and shower heads
  - removal of tile around diverters and installing new tile
July 15th-August 17th:
- Water Heater Improvements
  - install new water heater exchange
  - install new mixing valves
- installation of new doors with access control
July 24th-August 14th
- Recreation Pool light installation and painting
August 1st-August 14th: Annual Down Week(s)
- new shower partitions in general locker rooms
- Competition Pool area painting
- new Big Ass fan

Outdoor Venues:

June 15th-July 2nd:
- Tennis Court repairs
July 5th-Juy 31st:
- Pickleball Court repairs

Skyline Fitness:

July 13th-August 5th
- Skyline Gym painted

Coming in Summer, 2026:

AFC Enhancements:
- Egym equipment installation in upper fitness
- New Matrix and Hammer Strength fitness equipment
- New PLAE floor systems cycling area, stretching area, classroom and group exercise room
- New PLAE floor and turf system in cardio area
- New Stretching and Recovery Studio — Hyperice equipment and massage chair
- Upgraded lighting in Rec pool and cardio area
- New Big Ass Fan

- Racquetball conversion to multi-functional training space
