The GMU Rugby Club is the oldest club on campus and we consider ourselves gentlemen, scholars, and athletes. The Men’s Rugby Club has been in existence since 1965 and has been a major player in the northern Virginia and DC area. The Men’s Rugby Club currently competes in the Potomac Rugby Union, and although our competitive season is played in the fall, we compete year round. Everyone is welcome to come out and play rugby, no experience is necessary, although athleticism is preferred.
Looking to try this sport out? We are looking for new members! Come try rugby with us on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 5PM – 7pm on West Campus Field 4.
