This course trains candidates all necessary skills to be prepared to teach water safety programs, including: 1) the Basic Water Rescue course, 2) the six levels of the Learn to Swim program, and 3) Parent and Child Aquatics.

- Minors must be registered by an adult. Adults should login to or create their own account and then register the minor using the “add a family member” option on the registration page.
Prerequisites
- Be 16 years old by the last day of class.
- Perform 25 yards each of the following strokes at a Level 4 or better:
- Front crawl
- Back crawl
- Sidestroke
- Elementary backstroke
- Butterfly (15 yards)
- Float in deep water.
- Tread water for one minute.

Attendance at all class times is mandatory for certification.
