AFC Men’s and Women’s Temporary Locker Closure

AFC facility update

Patriots- Beginning July 17th, the AFC men’s and women’s locker rooms will be closed.  Facilities will be working to repair the shower drains. During this time, the gender-neutral locker room will be available. Lockers are provided. These lockers are for day use only and should not be used to keep items in overnight. We anticipate re-opening the locker rooms on August 15th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Summer Comp Pool Closure

Coming this Summer- The AFC is going through a major renovation of the competition pool area! Phase 1 projects include replacement of the interior pool tile, new lights, new skylights, interior painting, and a new roof. The competition pool is now closed, but the building and recreation pool will remain open. Check out our before picture below!

On Tuesday, May 9 the AFC will be closed from 12:30 pm – 3 pm and the Recreation pool closed from 12:30 pm – 3 pm. This closure is to allow our student staff to attend their end-of-the-year cookout and awards ceremony.

Sponsored by Sodexo and Mason Dining, don’t miss your chance to play 18 holes with us. Registration closes on April 21, so sign up as an individual or as a team today.

Cost:

  • $100.00 per person (non-Mason students)
  • $75.00 (current Mason students) *Faculty and staff are not eligible for the student rate.

All proceeds of the Mason Open support the Mason Recreation – Student Development Fund. The fund provides students the ability to pursue professional development opportunities at various conferences, seminars, and courses throughout the country.

    *Payment will be accepted on-site via cash, check (payable to GMU Foundation) and VISA/Mastercard.

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:

  • Breakfast snacks
  • Buffet lunch
  • Range balls & access
    cart and greens fee
  • Long drive/straightest drive/closest to the pin contest holes
  • $10,000 hole in one contest (Par 3)
  • $5,000 consecutive putting contest
  • $1,000 within 12″ of the pin (Par 3)
